I just wanted to say a big Thank You to Dr. Coleman and his staff.  The end of May, my 11 year old German Shepherd/Daschund mix herniated a disk in his back.  He had absolutely no use of his hind quarters at all.  He suffered a lot of nerve damage and was in chronic pain.  After utilizing all conventional methods of treatment, I asked our regular Vet if he knew of anyone who practiced chiropractic medicine on animals.  He recommended I give Dr. Chuck Coleman a try.  I truly believe in chiropractic and naturopathic treatment for humans and animals, and went into Dr. Coleman’s office with a lot of Hope and Faith.  The rest of my family thought I should put Kodi down, but I just had to exhaust all treatments before I did something so drastic to a beloved member of the family.  After two months of Chiropractic Adjustments, Aqua Puncture, and natural supplements keeping him confined to a play pen for almost a month, and a lot of prayers and patience, my Kodi is now 99% back to his old self.  He can run and jump and play!  He is so happy.  You can hear him coming now due to a little unevenness in his walk, which could even be totally eliminated as the nerves heal with time.  It’s ok though, even if he always has a catch in his giddy-up, we don’t care because he is back to his old puppy self again and loving life.  We do have to watch him when he gets playing too crazily with our other two dogs, we don’t want him to re-injure himself which is a possibility.  After seeing what a “miracle” Dr. Coleman performed on Kodi, I am now taking Kati our female who has bone spurs on each of her vertebrae’s in her back to see if he can alleviate some of her uncomfortableness.  I just appreciate Dr. Coleman’s compassion that he shows to the animals and his honesty when he is communicating with the “parents.”  His staff is above and beyond wonderful!  I have been treated so kindly by everyone there and so have my dogs.

Thank you,

Lori Ashbeck and family

When I got Shilo (a 2 yr old Chihuahua-Dachshund mix) from the NW Pom rescue in Portland she was scared of everyone & everything. She didn’t know how to play or go for walks. She wet all over my house. She wouldn’t come to anyone but me. I brought her to Dr. Chuck Coleman after six months to see if she had a bladder infection that caused her to wet everywhere. Dr. Coleman put a calming oil on his hands, let her sniff his hands and gently started to examine her. She didn’t even shake while he examined her. He gave her an adjustment. When we got home about an hour later she was calm around other people in the house, not barking or shaking when people talked to her. The next morning she let my father pet her and actually licked his hand. My mother said if she hadn’t been around Shilo before the exam & treatment she would not believe it. Shilo is wetting only on the piddle pad and is comfortable around people and loves going for walks and even has her favorite toy. Dr. Coleman (Chuck) has given her four treatments and she continues to get more relaxed and playful with each visit. The past two days she has barked and jumped up telling me she has to go outside. I’ve always had dogs so I’ve been to a lot of vets. Dr. Chuck Coleman is the best vet I’ve been to.

Thanks.
